To combat human trafficking, our partner Love Justice International employs a unique and highly effective strategy known as "transit monitoring." This approach is designed to identify and assist potential victims while they are in transit, during the vulnerable period when they are being trafficked but before they reach the destination where they may face exploitation and enslavement. At the core of this strategy is the "interception" process. Love Justice staff intercept individuals when there is strong evidence or reasonable suspicion that they are at high risk of being trafficked. By intervening at this critical stage, the goal is to prevent trafficking from progressing further. To ensure the success of each interception, Love Justice has developed a detailed questioning protocol. This includes a set of visual red flags that help staff identify suspected victims and a structured line of questioning to assess whether trafficking is occurring. All team members are thoroughly trained to recognize the signs, ask the right questions, and provide assistance to those in danger. Love Justice International’s interception strategy has proven to be a powerful tool in stopping human trafficking before it escalates into exploitation.
